WE Heal is our Healing Project based on Acts 4:29-30.
Goal:
That Christians will learn a good foundation about biblical healing.
How:
WE Heal primarily covers special services we hold when we go to the various districts. We have a 2- or more day service during which we share Biblical teaching and pray for the sick. We have prayed for a lot of people and have seen them get healed by the power of our mighty God. In the future we hope to have services where multiple churches come together so that we can lay a good foundation about Biblical healing. A lot of people who are newly converted still stay with their old habits. This often means that they go to medicine men or witch doctors for healing. There are not a lot of churches here where healing is preached according to the bible. Prosperity is a subject that is preached about a lot more in Uganda than healing. The sick are prayed for, but sound teaching about healing is often missing. It is necessary that also for healing a good biblical foundation is laid. (Isaiah 53:5, Mark 16:17-18 and Acts 4:29b-30)
